Jethro Hon
Design and
Project Strategist

An inspiring vision deserves a buildable reality. And the distance between vision and reality is where projects are defined.
For complex projects, the focus is on a strategic framework that safeguards the vision and drives targeted innovation. A foresighted method manages risk and transforms challenges into opportunities and long-term successes.
A unique perspective—forged over two decades in construction—merges hands-on client development, digital design with R&D insight to identify where strategic invention creates optimal value.
Let’s discuss how to transform the challenges of your next project into a lasting asset.

Chelsea Waterfront is the area’s first major development in over a century. Situated on a 11.3 acre site, this expansive project features high-end riverside residences built on the former site of the Grade II listed Lots Road Power Station that once powered the London Underground. The centerpiece of this development is the adaptive reuse of the Power Station. The development also features several mid-rise and two glass residential towers up to 37-storeys at the entrance of Chelsea Creek, serving as a landmark along Thames River.

Strategic & Design Leadership
I take a vision and break it down into actionable steps. My focus is on materializing these ideas through design, while always considering stakeholder needs.
Project & Development Management
I enjoy the challenge of guiding interdisciplinary teams through dynamic and adaptive processes work styles that gets us to the optimal solution, while making sure in encouraging innovation, even as we stay within strict time and budget limits.
Technical Proficiency
I take a systematic approach in bringing complex concepts to the final product ensuring all deliverables met our high-quality standards.
Problem Solving & Risk Management
My project work includes strategic problem-solving and risk management to keep initiatives moving forward.
Digital Transformation
I drive data-driven innovation by leveraging advanced tools for project visibility and reimagining processes. My goal is to optimize for greater efficiency and quality, leading to sustainable outcomes.
Growing up across Hong Kong, Canada, USA, and the UK has taught me early on that some ideas hold up better than others. It’s a lesson in brutal honesty that I’ve been applying for some time, from navigating different cultures to running my logic by my kids to see how they would stand up to unfiltered scrutiny. I tend to believe a potpourri of insights enables us to meet adversity with equanimity.
Professionally – The quest of moving forward is fueled by the same energy I bring to my home kitchen. I approach projects similarly in the sense that – it’s not about a rigid recipe, but in understanding different cuisines and taste preferences, improvising with makeshift ingredients, climate adaptation, level of experimentation, method and tool of choice etc. Those are the mise en place and repertoire for an attempt in creating something truly memorable.
Metacognition and Mindfulness – Exercising is less about power conquest but more about finding that creative headspace, and comes along with it the cheat code to complex problems. And what about the occasional meditation? It provides the ultimate grounding and spiritual balance.
Whether you wish to discuss new ideas, a project or simply to reach out, send me a message.
